This guide describes how to sign in to any computer you have access to within APPLY's intranet from any PC, without using Citrix.

- In the start menu, on your home computer, search for "remote" and select "Remote Desktop Connection":
If you are using Windows in Norwegian, search for and select "Tilkobling til eksternt skrivebord" instead.
- Click on "Show Options":
- Select the "Advanced" tab and click the "Settings..." button:
- Fill in the form as shown, with "rdpgateway.apply.no" as the server name, and click OK:
- Select the "General" tab and type in your work PC's name in the "Computer" field, and your @apply.no Windows username in the "Username" field. All Computers in Moreld Apply have a label with the computer name placed so it should be easy to see. An example is SG-PF1JBH3H or SG3072.
Then, click the "Connect" button:
- Enter your credentials and click OK.
- Click Connect to establish a connection. You will be asked to provide a password. Type in the password and click OK. Now you will have to open your cell phone and confirm in Microsoft Authenticator that you are login on.
- If you don't get a confirmation message on your phone, you will have to change that in your security profile at https://aka.ms/mfasetup
Click Change and make sure that Microsoft Authenticator is set as your preferred sign-in method. - If the following window appears, verify that the computer name (blurred out in this image) is correct and ends with ".sorcogruppen.no", then click Yes.
Otherwise, click No and retry with the correct computer name.
Next time you use Remote Desktop you should only need to click "Connect" and confirm using Microsoft Authenticator.
