Apply Insight E-learning
Apply AS offers e-learning at https://insight.apply.no. The training material requires in some cases that it has permission to open a Pop-up. This document will show how to permit this.
NOTE All Apply computers and Citrix environment is configured by Group Policy to allow Pop-Ups from https://insight.apply.no. This guide is ONLY relevant for private computers and devices like tablets and cell phones. |
Chrome
Chrome is a popular browser that has been around for quite some time. It can be installed on most devices and operating systems.
It can be downloaded here: Download Chrome
Open Chrome and type into the URL address field: chrome://settings/content/popups and click Enter
You will now see the following settings
Click the Add button in the Allow section and type in: https://insight.apply.no. Then Add button
Chrome will now permit Pop-Ups from insight.apply.no only. |
Safari
Safari is part of MacOS and has no per-website control regarding pop-up windows. To allow a pop-up, choose Preferences from Safari menu. Click the Security tab. Toggle off the Block pop-up windows. This will allow all websites to open pop-ups and is a security risk. Please use one of the browsers mentioned in this document.
Microsoft Edge
The new Edge is based on chrome and was released on January 15, 2020. Apply have standardized on this browser and did so in March 2020. It can be run on Windows and MacOS. In addition, it can be installed on devices like tablets and cell phones.It can be downloaded here: Download Edge
Open Edge and type into the URL address field: edge://settings/content/popups and click Enter
You will now see the following settings

Type in insight.apply.no and then click Add button

Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is a browser that was released in September 2002. Based on Gecko and open source project maintained by volunteers. t can be installed on most devices and operating systems.
It can be downloaded here: Download Firefox
Open Firefox and type into the URL address field: about:preferences#privacy and click Enter.
Scroll down to the Permissions Section
Click the Exceptions… button and add https://insight.apply.no. When done typing, click the Allow button.
Click Save Changes button and you are done.
Firefox will now permit Pop-Ups from insight.apply.no only. |
